"Wealth experts" last week at Forbes unveiled the mag's list of the "20 Most Intriguing Billionaire Heiresses"—girls who "defy the stereotype of the bon-bon popping princess thanks to achievements in business, sports, and the arts." Which is to say, most of those included have actual jobs! Not as school teachers or lawyers or anything lowbrow like that, but at least they're not whiling away the day sucking down $22 mojitos in nightclubs and having sex on camera, the lifestyle trailblazed by regular millionaire heiress Paris Hilton.
There's Vanisha Mittal, the daughter of London-based steel magnate Lakshmi Mittal (net worth: $51 billion), who started off working for pops as an intern and now has a seat on the board of directors. There's Delphine Arnault Gancia, daughter of Louis Vuitton don Bernard Arnault (net worth: $26 billion), who, like Chelsea Clinton, was once a McKinsey consultant and now serves as the first female director of LVMH. There's even Ivanka Trump, Donald spawn, Wharton grad, and Apprentice star. Funny thing about her, though. Forbes lists daddy's net worth as $3 billion. Others, like veteran New York Times business reporter Tim O'Brien, say it's actually between $150 million and $250 million. But who's counting?
