  • At a February 2004 Governors Association dinner, the much doughier Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee invoked none other than God (via cell phone) in his support for George W. Bush. What followed was a textbook example of how Republican attempts at humor inevitably end in all-too-earnest promises to protect the little baby cheeldrin.
