< BACK TO Fresh Intelligence Catching Up on Foxy Knoxy Murder Case
London tabs are gleefully providing the tawdry revelations as soon as they become available. A rundown of some recent developments in the case: • Newly arrested murder suspect Rudy Hermann Guede claimed that the dying Ms. Kercher whispered her killer's initials as she passed. Rudy reportedly said he and the victim had been consensually busy in the bedroom prior to her murder. Then one of Rudy's lawyers, the esteemed Signor Biscotti, confused the matter by saying that his client had no sex whatsoever with the deceased. (Rudy says he's a vampire and an alien—Radar has his crazy YouTube soliloquy.) • Rudy also said that the real killer was an Italian man who told him, "black man found, black man condemned." After his close-up encounter with this mysterious killer, Guede apparently said "whatever" and went dancing in Milan. • Former barista, erstwhile blogger, and pinup girl for psycho-loving fanboys everywhere Amanda "Foxy Knoxy" Knox was captured on video shopping for sexy lingerie less than a day after Meredith Kercher's body was discovered. Knox and fellow accused conspirator Raffaele Sollecito were caught on tape canoodling in a clothing store, fingering G-strings and camisoles, and making out in front of several shocked—shocked—Italian customers. Mr. di Rinaldi, the shopkeeper who provided the images, said he overheard Knox say to Sollecito as she ho'd out of sight, "I'm going to take you home so we can have wild sex together." • Evidence found at the crime scene has cops hunting for two new suspects. An unknown man and woman are being sought based on physical evidence that doesn't match the three already being held on suspicion. After all, early reports about the murder did say that Kercher had been killed when she resisted participation in an orgy. • The indignities for the victim and her family continue. Meredith Kercher's body is still in Italy. Its release depends on a court decision regarding a second autopsy on Kercher's remains. PREVIOUSLY
Another erudite piece of writing from Steve Huff. This case is getting 'curioser and curiouser', to paraphrase Alice. One hopes that the trial will not take too long to start, but with the number of defendants it looks unlikely. Posted by: blimeyhecks on November 29, 2007 8:34 AM Advertisement |
