Adrian Grenier Can Write Real Good

Adrian Grenier isn't going to let that pesky writers' strike get in his way. "I'm not a member of the [screenwriters] guild, so I can still write," the mop topped actor was overheard telling a guest at Cinema Society's screening of I'm Not There.

Funny, though. That wasn't the impression he left at a recent screening of Margot at the Wedding. On the red carpet, Mr. Vincent Chase backed the writers, saying "I don't want to talk too much about what's going to happen with the strike or the show.... I completely support the writers. They should absolutely be getting what they deserve for the work they do." And when he was asked if he'd put down the script and pick up a picket sign and join the line, his response: "Yeah, I would." The question is, would he write his own sign?

Between drinks at the bar at the Bowery Hotel fete in Manhattan for the Dylan film, Grenier aimlessly ambled about, freely talking to guests about the strike and his upcoming film, which "indoctrinates the relationship between celebrity and the media.... That's the documentary I've been working on. I've had Paris Hilton helping me out." Given that his first documentary, Shot in the Dark, premiered to high critical acclaim, just what kind of consulting did the driver's license-lacking celebutard do?

Comments

I think he needs to indoctrinate himself a dictionary. God, and I need to indoctrinate myself a drink.

Did Paris have to give him an indoctrination to get attached to that project?
