I'm glad to see this. I went to one of his shows with my wife, and after selecting her out of the audience for a trick on the show, he invited her backstage afterwards. There he got her phone, email, and other info on the premise that he might do a show in our city and might use her in the show again. When they came out from backstage, my family posed for photos with him. After returning home, he commenced to email my wife, inviting her to visit him at his Bahamas Island, followed by phone calls. What an ass! I was suspicious of why he selected her from the audience, and especially when he talked her into giving him contact information. It's clear he makes a habit of this and doesn't care whether his targets are married or not. I hope they nail his ass to the wall.

Years ago, in the mid 1980s, I dated a woman who worked in a hospital.
She specialized in rehab for children with physical problems.

Copperfield started a program ( with good intentions) to help kids with these type of problems and would visit local hospitals each time he came to our town.

Also, each time he came to our town he would invite my girlfriend to dinner and give her tickets to his show and always include her in his act. I agree, Copperfield loves women, he would always show up @ the hospital with a girl on his arm and see to it that her photo was never taken because he had another waiting at home. At the same time he was trying year after year to hit on my girlfriend. This guy is a sleez..... a rich one at that. Looks as if it may have caught up with him

The previous comments sound a bit jealous. Why would the FBI take 2 million in cash from his safe in Vegas, what can this have to do with the alleged rape in the Bahamas? To BobE and lwh, remember Money ADDS more inches than Viagra.

Seattle Police Department is one of the most rogue police departments in the country. To sit here wondering if this guy 'did perhaps rape this girl?' I can not sit and help know the facts of the investigative agency itself.

It is rogue. It takes facts and uses 'victim advocates' to support theories of wrong-doing. It uses 'victim advocates' to communicate with alleged rape victims, or domestic violence victims, to contort the truth and to develop theories of victimizations.

I have been through the system in Washington, and have found that Mr, Copperfield will now have to prove his innocence.

It is good to see that they have now are willing, themselves, to put be in the limelight. They deserve to have someone with unlimited resources within their hands to contort facts, abuse not only victims but as well create new ones.

I am watching this case, with the same fervor it deserves. For, I am sure this case is not just about an alleged wrong doing by David Copperfield, but it is as well about an agency, willing to do anything to be in the limelight.

Especially, purport to protect victims.
