  • Newsday: (Dateline: Washington) "The British troop pullout from Iraq announced yesterday leaves Basra, Iraq's second largest and most strategically important city, in near total chaos both politically and militarily." Veteran war reporter Michael Yon e-mails NRO's The Corner: "I am in Basra and there certainly is no chaos here." Depends on where you're standing.
