Grab a sleeping bag, a Bowie mix tape, a can of mace to ward off your fellow fashion fiends, and set up camp outside Target.

The retailer is debuting its "Bowie by Keanan Duffty" men's collection on Sunday, inspired by David's Thin White Duke-era '70s look. The collaboration marks another notch on Target's bedpost of cool, and will keep fans of affordable ready-to-wear in vests, trench coats, and raffish tuxedo blazers. Hell, they'll even be able to pick up piles of skinny ties—that is, if today's Times Styles ode hasn't turned that accessory into this year's pink wine. We can only hope there won't be a repeat of the great Lagerfeld-for-H&M riots of November 12.

For Duffty the move is the ultimate in synergy. He's dressed the Sex Pistols for their American tour and has long described Bowie as one of his major influences. He even dressed a Kid Robot in Bowie-accented garb back in 2006. "Bowie" the fashion line is, we're pleased to report, safe for day-to-day casual ware. We were however a tad disappointed to see that Duffty didn't re-interpret his muse's rockin' Labyrinth costumes or sequined jumpsuits. But if this collection is a hit, maybe next time Duffty will unleash a bit more Ziggy Stardust action.

Also unfortunate for dapper shoppers? The $29.99 puffer vest does not come with Iman's cell phone digits.
