The Nobel Peace Prize isn't handed out until Friday, but smart-money gamblers would do well to wager on Al Gore while the line is still good.

At 5/2, the one-time almost president, Oscar-winner, and global warming squawk box is the betus.com favorite to take home the prize, followed by Holocaust child-saver Irena Sendler (9/2), former Finnish president and international mediator Martti Ahtisaari (5/1), and AIDS crusader Stephen Lewis (10/1). (To see how the rest of the contenders stack up, click "Future/props," then "Politics," and then on "Nobel Peace Prize Winner 2007.")

Of course, risk-takers with some extra cash flow may want to take a walk with pill-popper Rush Limbaugh, whose support from the Landmark Legal Foundation hasn't helped his chances as much as he'd like (100/1). The only nominee with worse odds? President Bush (1000/1).

How can Al win when a Judge just pointed out the flaws in his movie?
No chance for Rush but what left-wing contest would allow him to win this is such a joke.
I mean Jimmy and now Al... oh the humanity of it all...I'll bet you one thing Bill is p.o. about now. We even heard that he is voting for Rush as a protest vote :)
