  • Billboard reports that in its first six days, Kanye West's The Graduation sold 957,000 copies compared to 50 Cent's Curtis, which sold a comparatively meager 691,000 units. (The numbers are astounding news for toilet-level rap sales, which were down 33 percent from mid-2006.) Fiddy has already canceled his European promotional tour, but will he live up to his promise to retire having been outsold? (He has quite a nest egg going, according to Forbes, and is number two on the Hip Hop Cash Kings list.) [billboard.com]
