Washington D.C. politics can be a real drag.
No one knows that better than Christopher Dyer, who on Friday became the city's director of the Office of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender Affairs. To land the choice slot, Radar has learned, Dyer struck a behind-the-scenes deal with D.C. Mayor Adrian Fenty in which he agreed to hang up his stockings and Spanx and quit playing the role of Miss Cookie Buffet, a popular drag queen alter-ego he's been parading around town for years. He's also given up his popular website, on which he offered up a pictorial and gossip-filled peek into his nightly exploits.
