  • Donald and Doris Fisher, the founders of clothing chain the Gap, will announce today their intention of opening a new modern art museum in San Francisco's Presidio area. The space will exhibit the couple's extensive collection of works by Chuck Close, Alexander Calder, and Richard Serra—turns out there's all kinds of dough in chinos. [NYT]
