Stephanopolous Skewers Ron Paul

Truth hurts: Ron Paul might have more money in the bank than John McCain, but that doesn't stop George Stephanopoulos from being blunt about the Internet candidate's chances.

Shee-sh!: Mom-zilla Cindy Sheehan threatens to waste a ton of money in a congressional challenge to Nancy Pelosi if the Speaker doesn't introduce articles of impeachment.

Dead Earth: Live Earth ended Saturday, but the criticisms keep rolling in.

Slap or reality: Katie Couric's not so sure she should have made the move to the CBS Evening News. Viewers are positive she shouldn't have. Plus, did she slap a staffer out of frustration?

Unacceptable: An abortion-rights group claims that every evangelist's favorite future candidate Fred Thompson lobbied for the pro-choice group 16 years ago. Despite proof to the contrary, Thompson denies it.

Chick fight: Head Claymaniac Clay Aiken scuffles with a woman on an airplane and gets a visit from the FBI for his trouble.

...and Radar loses 95% of my respect as a political magazine with one stupid post.

Stephanopoulos makes a stupid, editiorializing comment that Ron Paul has no chance to win the Republican nomination. Instead of pointing out how inappropriate and wrong Stephanopoulos's comment was, Radar big ups nim by reporting that as a "skewering" of Paul.

Give me a break. He came off as pompous and obnoxious.

I personally am enjoying the decline of the MSM as the internet takes over as a news source. Who needs the Stephanopouloses and the Adam K. Raymonds (whoever that is) of the world and their opinions? They don't know more about who's going to become president than youtube, facebook, meetup, intrade, or digg.

I used to like Radar, but after this: just fold again already, please. And take ABC News with you.

There. I fixed it for you. Bookmarking this page for future laughs after Ron Paul prove you wrong.

Wow! Stephanopoulos can see the future! This is what is so lacking in government today.

Now he MUST answer these vital questions immediately:

1. What are the next SuperBall winning numbers?
2. What is the exact date of the end of this damn war?
3. When will we catch Osama?

It is so rare to find someone who can actually predict the future with utter certainty. This man deserves a raise.

Every day the mainstream media (not to be confused with real journalists) demonstrate their panic at the thought of a true conservative patriot becoming president. Pretty boy George should be ashamed of himself, but he's a progagandist for the liberal globalist movement and therefore is incapable of feeling shame. He doesn't know right from wrong. Dr. Paul does.

RON PAUL in 2008! Liberals & Neo-Cons beware!

George Stephanopoulos knows - he is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations and the Bilderbergers, who wish to build a One World Government. Ron Paul is trying to upset their plans. Though we should Mr Stephanopoulos for giving him air time.

Yeah, ever wonder why Radar or other so-cool, so-hip political mags don't ask pesky questions why journalists like Stephanopoulos are members of CFR and other shady organizations along with the politicians they're supposed to be covering?

Now that would be an interesting story. I'll save you the time: the MSM is part of the same system along with the politicians, which is why Tony Snow can jump seamlessly from FOX News to the Bush admin, why Chris Matthews used to work for Tip O'Neill, Wolf Blitzer for AIPAC, Tim Russert for the Democratic political machine in Buffalo, and so on. They all decided they could make more of an impact by become part of the objective, clear-lensed MSM.

But surely edy political mags like Radar call them on it, right?

I want to know how Stephanopolous knows this. What does he know that we don't? If the outcome of the election is already determined then the American people must be informed about it. This website should have focused on this angle instead of acting like George Stephanopolous was right.

People shouldn't get so upset about the comment because it was an amazing rare addmission of the truth. What he said was we in the media control the masses and our anointed one will be elected and you are not him/her.(smirk smirk)

I don't blame George I blame our lemming population that literally begs to be treated like slaves. Whether it is "republicans" who want a Guiliani national ID card to save us from bin Ladin or Dems who want national health care which will guarantee serf-like taxes for Americans, we are all begging for total gov control.

Hi everyone! I hope all of you are doing well!

Being a long-time marketer, I can tell you that Stephanopoulos used a form of neurolinguistic programming, or NLP, in the interview. NLP is designed to influence change through subtle suggestion.

Stephanopoulos basically tells Ron he is going to lose, and the theory is that anyone watching will believe this as true. The seed of doubt is then planted firmly in people's minds, and the theory is that these people will not vote for what they perceive as a destined "loser."

It's pivotal that the people watching believe Stephanopoulos to be an objective, trustworthy figure.

I feel this tactic is a desperate one. When this type of tactic fails, it usually achieves opposite results. This means the CFR is either hiring seriously lame-ass marketing gurus and political consultants, or they are really desperate.

Planting NLP seeds of suggestion only works when people have a total trust in the person offering the suggestion. Who trusts Stephanopoulos or any establishment figure on mainstream news anymore? This was a major failure and it's easy to deprogram the suggestion simply by letting everyone know Stephanopoulos is a member of the CFR and is a form Bilderberger.

Next time try using Bono from U2, or maybe the Dalai Lama. You're going to have a problem finding someone because Ron Paul comes off as a very trustworthy guy, especially to women. Or maybe cancel your subscription to the CFR and join the rest of humanity as loving human beings who want peace. Graduate from being and acting like an animal. Trust me, it's not as bad being a human being as Rockefeller says it is.

Ron Paul should have responded to Stephanopoulos with "What kind of interviewer are you?" and then whatever Stephanopoulos's answer say: "You know the innermost ring of Dante's Inferno is for the souls of men who commit treachery to a guest?"

Oh, and as for this continual reference to "MSM" -- please start referring to "Old Media" vs "New Media" or at least refer to "MSM" as what it is: "Main Line Media" as in heroin injection.

I was over at the house of some acquaintances last night when the wife turned on "Law and Order". I don't have a TV hookup so I've never seen Fred Thompson in action. The show was basically about a preacher who "had many children to compensate for his latent homosexuality" and then murdered a homosexual prostetute or something. Your typical Freudian PC bullshit, and Fred Thompson was right there doing his duty for God and Country on the boob tube, almost doing a parody of what I see him as really being: A tool of the corrupt elite. But it wasn't a parody, it was real.

So after I had satisfied myself that my "prejudice" against Thompson was justified, I went over to the New Media station and looked up the video of my wife which you can see at http://tinyurl.com/68r56 singing "The Audition Aria" from "De Fledermaus" in The World Theater in St. Paul (Prairie Home Companion). I interrupted Fred Thompson's preaching about the evils of closet homosexual preacher murderers with many children, and told people to "watch this!". It was rude of me, of course, but I did it anyway. Everyone was happy to see it, as my wife was there with me, and conversation continued for a while until someone turned up Fred Thompson's PC sermon again. Then I went to another website and showed this video of some grease monkey motor heads who have done on $3M what NASA and its contractors haven't been able to do with $500M: http://tinyurl.com/33us7r which was, again, rude of me but so be it. Finally, after someone turned up Fred on the Old Media again, I interrupted again showing this clip of Guliani and other tools like Fred Thompson, repeatedly saying "9/11" and "terrorism" to the mindlessly enthusiastic applause of animated characters: http://tinyurl.com/3xy7c3 am I incorrigible or what? Well, not nearly as incorrigible as some Old Media tool like Fred Thompson posing as an alternative to Ron Paul...
