Britney Spears' Handwriting Analyzed

WRITES REAL PURTY Spears

Fallen pop star Britney Spears wrote to paparazzi photo agency X17 yesterday to "apologize" for attacking their photographer with an umbrella. She explained her rage away by saying it was a case of method acting gone awry—she was caught up in a movie role she was auditioning for (and didn't get). But beyond the words, what did the letter really tell us? Radar asked Dennis Duez of handwritinganalyst.com to interpret Britney's sad attempt at humor through graphology. His conclusion: she's intuitive, stressed, trying to make a comeback—and has back problems.

The full breakdown after the jump ...

Overall style
Dennis Duez: "Britney is a very independent person, it's 'my way or the highway' with her. She has an upward to backward slant to the left that shows she's really obstinate toward doing things her way."

The disjointed "husband"
"There's a lot of issues where the words are not connected at critical junctures." The most telling example is the word "husband," perhaps offering insight into her issues with K-Fed.

Bottom line in "carried away"
The 'w' is truncated, indicating, "Everybody wants her for something and she feels it. If it were more full or open, she'd be more receptive."

Capital 'S'
"In a lot of places she uses a capital S instead of a lowercase s. It shows she's not happy about liars—and she wants to make them go away."

Third line, "I was"
Maybe dealing with the fibbing haters gives Britney pains. "There is a stress point there, a shift of vertebrae, which shows muscle tension. There is a shift from the middle to the back. It's also visible faintly on the first line."

"Possible movie role"
"There are some indicators for abdominal stress. The o in movie, the lower right and upper right side have some dark spots."

Bottom line, "carried away"
"The straight shot down shows that somebody who provides emotional support is missing." .

Print and cursive mix
"She tends to work strongly on intuition."

Line seven, upsweeping loop in "they"
"That's one of the few areas where she goes into cursive. That's an indicator she's going into a more public role."

Signature
"She tends to be very quick about that as well. There's an open area where she's dealing with frustrations about her public image—that's at the bottom of the B where it's open."

Third line from bottom, "unfortunately I didn't get"
DD: "The way the loop is formed into a Hershey's Kiss. It shows a giving spirit, a compassionate spirit."
