Following in the footsteps of Us Weekly's Paris Hilton ban, MSNBC's Mika Brzezinski refuses to do the Hilton jail-release story as her lead item. (Hmm. Funny that she waited until she was on-air to make the declaration.) As staged as the routine might seem to some, the moment when she pulls a lighter out of her colleague's pocket and tries to burn the script containing the story seems off-the-cuff. And Brzezinski seems genuinely disgusted when producers roll tape of Paris's catwalk-like strut out of the county clink (above). The whole video is here.
