  • Crunchy Beatles-spawn Stella McCartney is staging an anti-fur protest in digital dimension Second Life. With PETA, McCartney will proclaim her dedication to fluffy animals by setting up a virtual island on which people can virtually eat veggie burgers and wear virtual $10,000 dresses. And she's not the first star to tap into the do-gooding powers of a fake world. Mia Farrow took to Second Life to give a talk on the genocide in Darfur in January. [Vogue UK]
