Late last week, a 38-year-old middle-school teacher in Wisconsin was fired for having sex with a 13-year-old student (who, it turns out, had actually dated the teacher's 13-year-old daughter). The alleged incident is just the latest in a string of sordid liaisons that, while morally reprehensible, tend to inspire high-fives, "awww yyyeeah!" blog posts, and many, many Van Halen references.
