Peter Braunstein may be a wacko, but he's not crazy in the legal sense. After deliberating for just four hours, a jury has deemed the so-called fire fiend guilty of kidnapping, burglary, sex abuse, and robbery. (He beat the arson charge.)
Braunstein, a former WWD media reporter, didn't deny he'd tied up and molested an ex-coworker after faking a fire to gain entry to her apartment, but his lawyers had argued he was too crazy to be held responsible for his actions. Tell it to your cellie, bub.
