KISS OFF Simmons

Following Radar's tongue wag with KISS's Gene Simmons, popular website Fark picked up the story and one of its commenters provides some insight into the Memorial Day taping of Simmons A&E show at Camp Pendleton in California:

I'm stationed at Pendleton ... This mother farker [Simmons] is an attention whore, when he was here he wouldn't play for us because we didn't have a large enough audience. When we bent over backwards to scrape up as many Marines as possible (it was just after hours on a Friday afternoon), we had to endure take after take. Every time they did another take, they would say "We're doing this for you!" Yea, support the troops as long as everyone knows about it. It was a publicity stunt, nothing more.
