The MySpace Friend Race '08!

Radar continues to track the '08 presidential race the high school way: by tallying the candidates' MySpace friends (only those with at least 1,000 qualified).
Barack Obama spiced up the race this week by wrestling his MySpace page away from his once-loyal supporter, Los Angeles paralegal Joe Anthony, who had become disenchanted with the Illinois senator's campaign. Barack's team agreed to pay $39,000 for his time, but Anthony gets to keep the 160,000 friends he had acquired—they'll be applied to whatever MySpace page he starts next.
ABC News, among others, have already speculated on the impact the move will have on Radar's MySpace Race—Hillary's winning now, though she's only in Lisa Turtle territory. The rebuilt Obamatron is already up and purring, however. Watch for the candidate to pull out of Screech land and slide into A.C. Slater country by next week!
