In typically poor judgment, '08 presidential candidate John McCain released a statement yesterday after the shooting reaffirming his support of gun rights. Fellow Republican presidential contender Rudy Giuliani seized the opportunity to abandon his longstanding position on gun regulation for a "right to bear arms" affirmation. But they both pale in comparison to the shoot-from-the-hip reactions of gun nuts on blogs across the Internet.
