Was Marc Jacobs inspired by our Handbags of Horror when he designed the limited-edition Frankenbag for Louis Vuitton?

Usually rejects in the scrap heap stay there. But the rehabbin' designer has repackaged seconds to create his Tribute Patchwork bag (of which only 24 will be made worldwide) for shoppers so ravenous for status that they need to wear a minimum of seven It Bags—all at one time.
