Breaking: 10 Axed At Star Magazine

CUTTING CREW Fuller
• The ax has fallen at troubled American Media, where 10 Star staffers lost their jobs earlier today. According to an insider, the toll includes executive editor Jon Auerbach as well as another editor, a film critic, two reporters, three photo editors, and a designer. Maybe it will help Bonnie Fuller put the loss of her unlimited car service in perspective?

Congressional Quarterly editor (and Radar contributor) Chris Lehmann, who whipped up a blogstorm when he dared to write in the New York Observer that Stephen Colbert wasn't that funny at the 2006 White House Correspondent's Association dinner, will take over for Richard Brookhiser as the Observer's Washington columnist. The bi-weekly column is expected to debut this week.

• It seems Jane Pratt isn't ready to share just yet. The debut of her Sirius satellite radio show, originally scheduled for last Friday, has been moved back to this coming Friday, still at 6 p.m.
