9/11 Plotter Confesses to Pearl Slaying

In Guantánamo hearing transcripts released late last night and this early morning, Khalid Sheikh Mohammed admits to facilitating or organizing over 30 terrorist attacks against the United States. Among those he takes responsibility for is the 2002 killing of Daniel Pearl, Wall Street Journal reporter and subject of the June 2007 Brad Pitt/Angelina Jolie film project, A Mighty Heart.

"I decapitated with my blessed right hand the head of the American Jew, Daniel Pearl, in the city of Karachi, Pakistan," Mohammed says.
