USE ONLY AS DIRECTED MySpace
The Associated Press has some good news for parents of MySpace users today: "Kids are using MySpace responsibly. They are getting the message." So claims Justin Patchin, an assistant professor of criminal justice at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire, who examined the content of the monster social networking site with criminology professor Sameer Hinduja of Florida Atlantic University.
This despite reports last month that 17-year-old David Carroll was using his MySpace page to sell pot, and Matthew Bergeron, a 19-year-old from Manchester, New Hampshire, is being charged with sexually assaulting a 12-year-old girl he met on the site.
