Hey, $43,000-a-year associate at Morgan Stanley. Yeah, you! If you stay late, show up early, don't call in sick, and somehow boost the company's stock value by 43 percent in a year, you just might one day be able to break the record for CEO bonuses, the one clinched today by Morgan Stanley chief executive officer John Mack.

Mack pocketed $40 million, eclipsing former CEO and current Secretary of the U.S. Treasury Henry M. Paulson's pitiful $36.2 million bonus.

Sooo ... comin' in to the office this Sunday?
