MYSTERY MAN Margiela?
As 2006 comes to an end, it's time to look ahead at what you'll be wearing, wanting, and watching in fashion next year.
Designer: Maison Martin Margiela
Aside from the fact that Margiela makes deconstructed jackets, tops, and cool shoes, he won't let himself be photographed, making him one of those rare anti-publicity hounds who can't help but pique everyone's curiosity.

Movie: Factory Girl
Not only is Sienna Miller said to be "sensational" as Edie Sedgewick, her wardrobe looks to be quite a treat for fashion-hungry eyes. Even the notoriously unattractive Andy Warhol looks L'uomo Vogue in the trailer. |

Concept: Star Trek editorials
There haven't been so many sci-fi references on the runways since JFK
was president. This coming year, we predict everything will come styled with helmets and space goggles.

Line: Kate Moss for TopShop
The Kate Moss line (designed by none other than Alexander McQueen's creative director Katie England) hits stores in spring. No word on what the collection looks like yet, but the hype surrounding it is already epic. |

Haircut: Agyness Deyn
Remember how Linda Evangelista's short 'do compelled everyone to crop their hair in the early '90s? This girl's making everyone do the same. |

Ailment: Anorexia Nervosa
With fashion's spring/summer perennial mini-skinny silhouette, we can expect that the fashion-obsessed pack will continue starving themselves. Let's hope someone brings back the round butt for fall. |

Trend: Neue Rave
Ravers now come in skinny jeans and Christopher Kane-style short
day-glo dresses. (And if you happened to notice how fast Kane
knockoffs sold out at Urban Outfitters, you'd know it's going to be
big!) |
