The narrative arc of the Britney Spears/Fed-Ex saga reached its logical conclusion this past Tuesday, when Spears filed for divorce after two tumultuous years of marriage (the decision, it goes without saying, was hardly mutual: K-Fed received word of Britney's decision via text message). Britney's surprise stop-in on the Letterman show on Monday, in which she appeared looking as put-together as she has in, well, years, is only the latest clip of a relationship that has been videotaped, edited, and choreographed from its inception. Herein, a Shakespearean tragicomic play of the star-crossed lovers, produced by YouTube.
