TV Land, the cable-network home to shows that either act as reality-programming palate cleansers or are on their last legs of syndication has revealed its list of the top 100 catchphrases in television's short history. All the bellwethers are there, from "Live long and prosper" to "Oh my God! They killed Kenny!"

Their selections are heavy on quotes your ex-fratboy coworkers beat into your brain for months after their original airings:

• "Whassup?"—Beer drinkers, Budweiser ads

• "Up your nose with a rubber hose!"—Vinnie Barbarino, Welcome Back, Kotter

• "That's hot!"—Paris Hilton, The Simple Life

• "Silly rabbit, Trix are for kids!"—Kids, Trix cereal ads

• "You eeeediot!"—Ren, Ren & Stimpy

Of course, any list that purports to represent the defining catchphrases in television history and includes Denny Crane from Boston Legal is inherently flawed. Clearly the most deserving lines were tragically omitted. What of the discerning boob-tube viewer?
