Daniel Wayne Smith, the 20-year-old son of tragic bottle-blonde Anna Nicole who likely died accidentally from a cocktail of uppers and downers, was laid to rest in a Bahamas cemetery on Thursday.

Smith, the former Playboy and Guess model who at the age of 26 married 89-year-old oil tycoon Howard Marshall II (he died and left his $1.6 billion estate to her), has not kept quiet during these tough times. She gave birth to her daughter just hours before her son collapsed, then sold the photos of the final family moments to In Touch Weekly for a reported $600,000. As the gossips speculated about her baby daddy, her lawyer, Howard K. Stern, came forward as the sperm donor, "married" Anna, and teamed up with Getty Images to sell the photos of the ceremony for nearly $1 million to People.

Given her capitalistic values, it makes sense that the press release announcing the burial of Anna's son was sent out by a rep for the product she famously endorses—TrimSpa, the Hoodia-and-caffeine upper of choice of hopped-up former fatties everywhere.

Classy to the core, the release on Ms. Smith's behalf quoted her new husband as saying the burial of her son was, "the most difficult day of [Anna Nicole's] entire life."
