Zac Posen has joined the ranks of Jean Paul Gaultier and Rodarte, with the launch of his Zac Posen For Target Collection. The celeb-coveted designer celebrated the impending release of his frugal fab collection with a private 24-hour Shopping Party in NYC, and all his glam gals showed up, modeling his wallet friendly designs.
The glammest of all, was without a doubt, the lovely Claire Danes, who rocked a printed gown from Zac’s Target collection like it was expensive couture. The brightly hued number, clung to Claire’s slender frame, showing off her body and bringing out her natural coloring. The most shocking part of all? When the collection hits stores on April 25th, Claire’s gown will retail for only $69.99!

Selma Blair looked better than she has in years, wearing a playful strapless mini from the same collection, which featured a ruffled skirt. The price tag on her party dress? $79.99.

New York City social types, designers and of course celebrities turned out to Gotham's big season opener at the Metropolitan Opera House on Monday evening. There getting her piece of symphonic glory was Beautiful Life star Mischa Barton.

Barton, who's date was also designer Posen, added a street edge with a leather envelope clutch carried on the wrist. Kravitz followed suit with a snakeskin bag, supershort mini dress and lace-detail Burch heels.
Sobieski went daring and modern in the a bordeaux-colored shift that was cut to the calf--controversial for a dress to the opera, usually super-formal. We can't wait to see what else she does maternity wise!

While we don't know how she fares against the hooded killer in Sorority Row, Rumer Willis triumphed in a lace Stella McCartney jacket at last night's Hollywood debut of the slasher.

Willis has been making top fashion marks for the whole of Row promotion, in girly getups from the likes of Zac Posen. She's developing her personal style and depending on box office numbers next weekend, her own stab at movie stardom.

It's a common occasion that a guest gets bumped off of late night chat shows for the next evening--what with time being such an issue for those funny guys behind desks.
Rumer Willis suffered such a fate on Monday when The Late Show with David Letterman rescheduled her for Tuesday evening, despite her showing for the interview in full hair and makeup.
What happens to the look?
Cameras caught young Rumer exiting Dave's Ed Sullivan theater, donning an interesting Zac Posen dress and killer Sergio Rossi heels.
Should she place the sexy sheath and shoes on hold for a different occasion? Wash her hands clean of the rags and find an ensemble that will actually surf some late night couch?
We say keepit lukewarn, Rumer--you've got plenty of promotion for the campy new thriller Sorority Row in the pipe.

Wednesday night was filled with fashion fabulosity -- from athletes amping up their look in designer gowns at the ESPY Awards to young Hollywood starlets stepping out in their A looks at Vogue's year anniversary party for the Los Angeles 3.1 Phillip Lim Boutique.

Used to rivaling each other on the courts, the Williams sisters went head-to-head style-wise on the red carpet at the ESPY awards. Venus won our vote for best dressed in an original silk-print chiffon Mara Hoffman gown and a fabulously feminine hairdo. Serena was a close-runner-up in a teal gown that was both classy and for all the jocks in the room, quite cleavage-y too! Just like on the court, Venus came out on top.
You can't have an award show in Los Angeles without bringing out some A-list movie stars, and Demi Moore fit the bill. She definitely made a presence in a red-hot Zac Posen number with shoulder cutouts. Orlando Bloom's model girlfriend, Miranda Kerr, also showed her support for the pro-ballers and stunned in a stark white Calvin Klein halter gown.
The fashion fete of the night was Vogue's year anniversary bash for the 3.1 Phillip Lim L.A. Boutique. The affair was speckled with the designer's young Hollywood fans and hosted by O.C. Alum Rachel Bilson, who donned a funky gold metallic short suit. Also drawing on the metallic trend, Gossip Girl Kristen Bell rocked-out in a metallic skirt by the celebrated designer. Shenae Grimes attempted an interesting nude-to-blush polka dot getup and we're thinking it was a 9021 Oh-No choice!
In NYC Taylor Momsen stuck to her trademark black and white look -- while we love her mini and trendy high boots, we are SO over her raccoon-like eye makeup!
