Former Dior designer John Galliano has been convicted in Paris of hate crimes after making anti-Semitic and racist remarks on two separate occasions, RadarOnline.com is reporting.
The controversial Brit, 50, was found guilty Thursday of making "public insults" based on origin, religion, race or ethnicity after two incidents at a bar in February, 2011 and October, 2010.

Shamed fashion designer John Galliano told a court Wednesday that drugs and alcohol were to blame for his now infamous alleged anti-Semitic rants.
French Prosecutors claim the former Dior head creative designer hurled racial slurs at customers in a Paris café on several occasions.
