Paris Hilton's ex-boyfriend, and nightclub promoter, Cy Waits, has taken a plea deal in connection with the felony driving under the influence of marijuana and misdemeanor charge of possession of marijuana RadarOnline.com is exclusively reporting.

Waits was pulled over last summer on the Vegas strip and arrested, and his then girlfriend, Paris Hilton, was also arrested for possession of cocaine.

After Cy's arrest last year, Steve Wynn fired Cy from his co-manager position at XS Encore and Tryst at Wynn Las Vegas. Cy's twin brother Jesse kept his job though.

Paris Hilton has been charged with felony cocaine possesion, RadarOnline.com has learned.

According to the criminal complaint filed by the Las Vegas District Attorney, Paris “Wilfully (sic), unlawfully, feloniously, knowingly, and intentionally possess a controlled substance, to-wit: Cocaine.”

Paris Hilton has been arrested on a cocaine charge in Las Vegas, RadarOnline.com has confirmed.

Police say the hotel heiress was arrested for possession of cocaine after officers stopped the car she was travelling in outside the Wynn hotel late on Friday night.

That car, a black Cadillac Escalade, was driven by Hilton's boyfriend Cy Waits, who was booked on suspicion of driving under the influence of drugs.

A spokesman says officers stopped the vehicle when they noticed what they suspected to be marijuana smoke coming from it.

During an inspection of the car, cops found what appeared to be a controlled substance on Hilton and tests showed that it was cocaine.

The celebrity party gal was booked into the Clark County Detention Centre early on Saturday morning on one charge of possession of cocaine.

Hilton was released on her own recognizance shortly after 2am local time.
