Stars Get Glam For Gucci

Stars showed up for the launch of the Gucci Icon-Temporary, the first Gucci flash sneaker store, in New York City.  Stars like Claire Danes, got to check out the chic new line of Gucci sneakers, some of which were designed by super-producer and bro of Sam Ronson, Mark Ronson.  Claire Danes looked gorgeous, as usual, donning a graphic black and white frock, while True Blood hottie Alexander Skarsgard had us at first bite in a to die for shearling coat!

Michael Jackson: As You Want To Remember Him

After all the gossip and hubbub dies down, Michael Jackson hopefully will be remembered for the one thing that’s important: his music.

Fittingly, Rolling Stone magazine has a special tribute in the works that chronicles his musical high and low notes, with new articles from from Will.i.am, Smokey Robinson, Quincy Jones, Sheryl Crow, Slash, Adam Lambert, Usher, L.A. Reid, Akon, Brooke Shields, Gamble and Huff, Wyclef Jean, Ne-Yo, Weird Al, Martin Scorsese, Glen Ballard, John Landis, plus two classic Rolling Stone cover stories, one from 1973 by Ben Fong Torres, and a 1983 piece by Gerri Hershey.

Destined to be a collectors item, the ninety-six pages are a fitting tribute to the King of Pop. Available July 10th.

Motown Records' Smokey Robinson, along with Hip-hop artist Wyclef Jean, were just a few of the stars commenting on the sudden death of pop icon Michael Jackson at ASCAP'S 22ND Annual Rhythm & Soul Music Awards, held Friday evening.

"I feel we lost not only a pop icon but the music industry lost a father," said producer Jean.

The star-studded event which was attended by over 650 leading songwriters, recording artists and musical industry notables like Alicia Keys and Ne-Yo, was held in Beverly Hills, Ca.
