Tough guy Mark Wahlberg's insensitive comments claiming that he could have stopped Flight 93 crashing into the World Trade Center if he'd been on the plane as planned, have sparked reaction from victims' groups, RadarOnline.com can exclusively reveal.

“If I was on that plane with my kids, it wouldn’t have went down like it did," the Contraband star, who had cancelled his seat on the doomed plane just days before 9/11, told Men's Journal.

"There would have been a lot of blood in that first-class cabin and then me saying, ‘OK, we’re going to land somewhere safely, don’t worry,'" said 40-year-old Boston-born action star.

Families, friends and total strangers gathered at St. Patrick's Cathedral in New York Saturday to honor the New York City Fire Department heroes who died on September 11, 2011.

So many arrived -- including firefighters from all over the country -- that many had to remain outside the overflowing cathedral and listen to the service on loud speakers.

An honor guard, with each member carrying a flag, represented the 343 members of the FDNY who died trying to save others in the attacks on the World Trade Center.

Many of the firefighters who attended from as far off as California, Nevada and Florida, wore their uniforms to the emotional ceremony.

Patrick Lyons, born shortly after his father, Lt. Patrick Lyons of FDNY Squad 252 was killed, spoke movingly of the dad he never knew.

I know you are in heaven and always watching over me," Patrick said.  "I love knowing you are a hero.  I wish I could have met you."

President Barack Obama will visit New York City on Thursday to mark the death of the world's most wanted terrorist, al-Qaida leader Osama bin Laden.

The White House says that while in NYC, Mr. Obama will visit Ground Zero, the site of al-Qaida's attack on the World Trade Center, where some 2,595 were killed on September 11, 2001.

As part of his visit -- which was announced by the White House via twitter -- the president will also meet with the families of those killed.

Cornelius Wilson just wants to be a good son. He is protective of his mom, Valerie Joyce Wilson Turks, even though she has made outrageous claims against Sean P. Diddy Combs.

"This whole situation is tough because I love my mom," Cornelius tells RadarOnline.com in an exclusive interview.
