Jon Gosselin will allow TLC to film his children again if the network drops its lawsuit against him, RadarOnline.com has learned exclusively.
The former Jon & Kate Plus 8 star is facing an expensive trial as TLC pursues its breach of contract claim against him. The prestigious law firm Williams & Connolly is representing TLC and won a preliminary injunction against Gosselin, prohibiting him from engaging in behavior that violates the non-compete clause in his contract.

Mark Heller called TLC's actions against his client Jon Gosselin "mean spirited and inappropriate" during a recess in court proceedings Thursday.
Heller addressed press during a break in TLC's court bid for a preliminary injunction against Jon, who is being sued by the network for breach of contract.

Meanwhile, Jon has yet to show up for his own court proceeding and Heller said he wasn't sure if Jon would make it!
Heller told the press: "We tried to end this amicably but it seems to me TLC and Discovery are embarked in a mean-spirited campaign because they've been embarrassed. They've been exposed. And that's one of the reasons they are trying to seal (Jon's) contract -- they don't want to be anymore embarrassed."
He also said Jon had taken his kids to school in Pennsylvania this morning and didn't know if he would show up for court.

The lawyer attacked TLC's case and said: "TLC has taken the show off the air and shut it down. So on the one hand TLC says, 'We're not running the show anymore.' And on the other, 'even though we're not running the show we don't want you to work for anyone else.
"I think that is mean-spirited and inappropriate because Jon Gosselin, like any other father in America, has a right to go out and support his family."

He also said that despite a TLC exec's morning testimony that the network was embarrassed by Jon's trip to Las Vegas where he was photographed with bikini clad beauties: "I don't see that as anything inappropriate or breach or violation of his arrangement with TLC".

Actually it won’t be a referee, but they will be monitored by a court-appointed arbitrator.
RadarOnline.com has learned exclusively that the warring couple will come face-to-face within the next several days to hammer out details of their divorce.

After talking about each other in separate national TV interviews for months, Jon and Kate will now face off behind closed doors and division of money is still a significant issue, sources tell RadarOnline.com exclusively.
Potentially complicating a resolution is the fact that Jon is being sued by TLC for breach of contract. He not only faces large legal bills but also could be on the hook for a huge sum of money if TLC prevails and is awarded damages. One scenario has Jon dragging out the divorce so that the couple’s money is still pooled – with Jon hoping Kate will convince TLC not to proceed against him because it will take money away from her and the kids.

But Kate doesn’t want to drag out the divorce. And if she has her way and the marriage is officially dissolved, the reality TV dad will be on his own if it comes time to pay TLC, and that bill could be astronomically high.

TLC is represented by Williams & Connolly, one of the best law firms in the country. Lead attorney Paul Gaffney has lined up a slew of depositions with people who were close to Jon during the past few months when TLC alleges he breached his contract and went rogue on the network. In addition, TLC is moving ahead with its attempt at a preliminary injunction against Jon and if it is granted Jon will not be able to trade off his “fame” for cash in paid interviews and appearances as he has been doing. He will also be restricted from pursuing other TV projects.

Jon has been in Hawaii for the past several days. One source says that instead of the harsh rhetoric he’s been using against Kate, he’s now ready to try a more conciliatory approach. Sources close to Kate say she wants to move on with her life as quickly as possible.
