On the horrendous occasion that two stars attending an award show appear in the same dress (gasp!), a fashion publicist likely takes a tranquilizer--but we get to decide who looked better!
Take Pink and Shakira, both attending Sunday's MTV Video Music Awards in Balmain's embellished black cocktail dress.
We love Pink exploring her softer side with the feminine frock, but in the same breath can't resist Shakira's dangerous curves.
Especially paired with knee-high black boots and a luscious blow-out, the She-Wolf in Sharkira KOs Pink's party dress attempt.

Who Wore It Best: Rachel McAdams vs. Rumer Willis

While Rachel McAdams has been on a three-month long tear promoting The Time Travelers Wife, we bet the only time she wishes she could wind the clock back Saturday, when she showed to a film festival in France in this Stella McCartney jacket.
While the black lace number is high-fashion and flattering, it was also done three days early by Rumer Willis.
Young Rumer donned the same jacket (paired with cigarette pants and a clutch) at Wednesday's Sorority Row premiere.
So who wore it best?
Though we're huge fans of Rachel's Time style, Rumer embodies the vintage chic of McCartney's label with her beauty and accessory savvy.

Who Wore It Best: Haute Halle vs. Cover Girl Paquin

A battle between a big screen mutant and cable vampire lover would certainly be compelling, but the real life red carpet challenge between Halle Berry and Anna Paquin is what's on deck.
Last night, at Nylon Magazine's September Issue bash in Los Angeles, cover girl Anna Paquin turned up in a sex black number by Herve L. Leroux with a sexy take on the sweetheart neckline and sheer sleeves.
It gave us a bit of style deja vous--we remembered Halle Berry in the same look months ago, supporting her pal Hugh Jackman at his X-Men Origins: Wolverine screening.
Same look, save a modified sleep and a lower cut. Who wore it best?
We're going with Halle on this one--her curves, winning smile and ownership of the look makes it a landslide to Paquin's attempt.
