What are you going to watch on TV this fall? It’s not too early to start planning, and the Discovery Communication Upfront presentation on Thursday in Los Angeles showcased new shows, favorite shows, a show about Mike Tyson and his pigeons and even a new network by Oprah Winfrey.
Animal Planet is airing Taking On Tyson, a show where former heavyweight champion Mike Tyson explores the competitive world of pigeon racing. Oprah Winfrey is staring her own network OWN, where her reality TV show will air. Behind the Scenes: The Oprah Show Final Season will show the last year of taping her beloved daytime talk show.

You wouldn’t expect such drama to come out of the world of horse racing, but Animal Planet’s Jockeys certainly proves otherwise. The second season kicks off tonight as the jockeys all fight for a spot in the prestigious Kentucky Derby. This sets the stage for plenty of fighting, back-stabbing and high stakes emotion that you would sooner expect to see on a Bravo reality series!

If you’re into fashion, animals and the paranormal—then tonight is your night.
Those fearless members of the Sea Shepherd Conservation Society are trying their darndest to interfere with Japanese whaling expeditions. Tonight on Whale Wars they confirm that the Japanese fleet are equipped with LRAD weapons. But, if you’re more into animals on dry land that need an SOS, check out The Dog Whisperer. Tonight Cesar Millan tames an anxious Doberman the only way he knows how—with a calm, assertive stance, of course!
Want some heart pounding drama of the supernatural kind? Then check out Ghost Adventures. The gang gets locked in at England’s Ancient Ram Inn that sits on a pagan burial ground and has been the proud site of human sacrifices and murders. Yikes!

It’s season premiere Friday!
First up, Captain Paul Watson and his team from the Sea Shepherd Conservation Society are back and they’re the one group that stands between a 750-ton whale-killing machine and its prey! Whale Wars follows these ''eco-pirates'' as they fight to end Japanese whaling once and for all. And tonight’s premiere kicks off the most dangerous, drama-filled and controversial season yet!
Some women have been thinking about their wedding day since they were little girls. The room, the flowers, the cake, and of course the dress. But what about their husband-to-be? Don't Tell the Bride gives $20,000 to cash-strapped couples to create the wedding of their dreams. But here's the catch! The couple is split up for the month leading up to the nuptials, and the groom has to pull off the whole thing… in secret! The bride will see the invitations when they come in the mail, the dress, mere hours before she walks down the aisle and the reception venue and meal when she arrives with the rest of her guests! On tonight’s season premiere the poor groom attempts to plan a fairytale wedding while the bridesmaids battle him all the way!
And on the season premiere of Ghost Adventures, the crew heads to California’s haunted Preston Castle. Founded in 1894, the former reform school believed in extreme discipline that included starvation, isolation, public paddling, lashings… and a murder or two! Today, visitors claim to see and hear slamming doors, falling objects, disembodied voices and ghostly physical contact. For the record, I must say these guys don’t hold a ghost bustin’ candle to Sci-Fi’s Ghost Hunters, but you will be entertained watching host Zak Bagans tonight when he becomes convinced he's been possessed by the spirit of a woman who was beaten to death there!
