Wesley Snipes had better start making friends in prison because it looks like he’s going to be there a while!
The 48-year-old actor filed a motion on January 28 in the United States Court of Appeals For The Eleventh Circuit requesting bond while his petition for certiorari is pending before the United States Supreme Court – on Friday, his request was denied and RadarOnline.com has the judges’ order.

Charlie Sheen has been training for his role in Major League 3, and now RadarOnline.com can exclusively reveal that the film is already written and the director has all but got the green light for production.

Actor Wesley Snipes, appearing on Larry King Live Tuesday, said that "there have been some egregious and very malicious efforts" in the media's reporting of his 2008 tax conviction, for which he's slated to begin a three-year prison sentence in Pennsylvania on Thursday.

As RadarOnline.com previously reported, the Jungle Fever star was convicted in February 2008 in Florida on three misdemeanor counts of willfully failing to file federal tax returns. He was acquitted of five other charges in the same proceedings, including felony tax fraud and conspiracy.

UPDATE: Despite reports, Wesley Snipes is not in custody. According to Eric Thompson, a spokesperson for the United States Marshall’s office, Snipes will be given a date on which he will voluntarily surrender at an institution designated to him by the Bureau of Prisons. That has yet to happen. A spokesperson for the Bureau of Prison confirms to RadarOnline.com, “Wesley Snipes is not in our custody.”
