Courtney Love On Kurt Cobain "I Married A Guy, He Killed Himself, I Inherited Everything"

In true Courtney Love fashion she’s spilling all in her latest interview with music magazine SPIN.
The singer, who has shocked and amazed the public time and time again with her outrageous antics opens up about her troubled relationship with her daughter Frances Bean as well as shrugging off her time with her late husband Kurt Cobain. With her eyes filling with tears she tells the magazine about one occasion when Frances was being “mean” to her, "One time, Frances was being mean and said, 'What are you going to do if the record fails?' " says Love, lighting a cigarette on her stove. "Well, Frances, it can't fail because I love it, and I've worked really hard to make sure that I love it."
Courtney Love’s Craziest Moments
And when it comes to her relationship with Frances father, who tragically committed suicide, Love shares with SPIN that even though she only knew Cobain for three brief years she is forever associated with his legacy, ““I married a guy, he killed himself, I inherited everything,” she shrugs, sipping tea. “That’s the way it goes.”
Courtney has had a well documented tumultuous relationship with her now 17-year-old daughter, once even taking an Oxycontin overdose in front of her. Just last year a judge awarded custody of Frances to Cobain's mother, Wendy O'Connor, and sister, Kimberly Dawn Cobain, amid rumors of domestic abuse. Shortly afterwards a judge issued a restraining order against Love barring her from contact with her daughter.
Courtney Ordered To Stay Away From Frances
Perhaps foreshadowing her future relationship with her own daughter, Love tells SPIN, “ the only way to be successful by the age of 25 is to forget that you have parents.”
And when it comes to the ongoing strife with her daughter Love puts the blame firmly in the court of her ex-in laws, France’s current guardians, claiming all they want is money, ““Those snarly-ass O’Connors want checks. I’m through supporting their asses.”

Love goes on to share her bad experience with insomnia and certain types of sleep meds, "I can't sleep either. I took Ambien for a few years, but I hated waking up with fucking eggs Benedict on my face and a 1,000-page letter I didn't remember writing. You should switch to Sonata."
Courtney Faces Off With Frances On Facebook
And when it comes to drugs it seems Love is quite the authority. Bizarrely, at the start of her interview with SPIN the reporter notes that Love’s psychopharmacologist dropped by the house just to check to see if everyone was OK or if they needed anything – that’s what you call personal service!
Perhaps giving some insight into Love’s current state of mind, she tells SPIN, "I'm lost in a f***ing nightmare maze."

In an exclusive interview Keith Fink, Courtney Love's lawyer, tells RadarOnline.com, "All I can tell you as Courtney's friend is that she loves her daughter more then anything in the world. Courtney will no doubt do what is best for Frances and will surely take her teenage daughter's desire and feelings into consideration with respect to the legal guardian issue."

And according to a neighbor of Cobain and O’Connor staying with the two could well be the best for Frances at this present time. “Wendy and Kimberly are really good neighbors that take good care of their property,” Christina Cox tells RadarOnline.com. “Kimberly is a really hard worker and they are both respectful and responsible people, so it is good that Frances will be living with them.”
This is the second time that Courtney has lost custody of Frances to the teenager’s grandmother. The first time was in 2003 following Courtney’s arrest for attempted burglary, a drug overdose and a suicide threat.

The guardianship is for both Frances’ personal and financial well-being, although the guardians will not have control over the trust that was created for Frances after her father’s death.

This isn’t the first time Love has lost control of her daughter. In October 2003 she lost custody of Frances when she was ordered to live with Wendy O’Connor following Love’s arrest for an attempted break-in to her ex-boyfriend’s home, a drugs overdose and a suicide threat . It took Love till January 2005 to regain custody.
