Michael Douglas says he will "never forget" the moment he was diagnosed with throat cancer.
The Oscar-winning actor was told he had stage IV throat cancer in August 2010, eight months after he first complained of soreness in the area, and he admits he "knew" the problem by the way the specialist looked at him.

Catherine Zeta-Jones said she’s "furious" over how long it took for doctors to detect the stage-four cancer that has developed in her husband Michael Douglas' throat.
"It makes me furious they didn't detect it earlier ... he sought every option and nothing was found," Zeta-Jones tells People in its brand new issue.
"I know maybe I should be stronger, but emotionally I just don't want to see that ... the hardest part is seeing his fatigue, because Michael is never tired."

Michael Douglas, fresh off his first week of radiation and chemotherapy after being diagnosed with stage-four throat cancer, told David Letterman on Tuesday's Late Show that he faces "an eight-week" struggle, but has an “80 percent” chance of recovering from the deadly disease.
"I've got cancer, found out about it about three weeks ago ... I just finished my first week of radiation and chemo, its gonna be an eight-week struggle,” Douglas said.

“Shia and Rosie are very friendly on set and laughing and joking with each other,” another eye witness told RadarOnline.com. Director Michael Bay has also been giving her extra-special attention, affectionately moving her hair with his hand during one of the shots, while at other times personally advising the new actress in her movie debut.
