Just hours after the shock announcement that the latest Bachelor couple has split, heartbroken Jake Pavelka is getting support from his former Bachelorette castmate, Juan Barbieri, RadarOnline.com exclusively reveals.

“I am very sad,” sympathized Barbieri, 37, told RadarOnline.com, after hearing the news that Pavelka and former Hooter’s waitress Vienna Giradi had broken up.
“I got on well with him, I liked him a lot.”

Jake and Juan were both contestants on Season Five of The Bachelorette, where they were vying for the affections of Jillian Harris.
Since then the pair have remained friends despite not seeing each very often.
“He’s been M.I.A. since he went from one show to the next, but I saw him recently as I went to a taping of Dancing With The Stars after he had been kicked off, and we chatted,” said Barbieri.

But it’s not all tears and heartache for Pavelka – Barbieri says that now Jake is single again, he’d love to go out partying with him.

One-time lovebirds Jake Pavelka and Vienna Giradi have ended their engagement, RadarOnline.com has confirmed.

"Jake and Vienna have split and appreciate the respect for their privacy at this time," a rep for the couple said in a statement.
It is the thirteenth failed coupling from the hit ABC television show.

As RadarOnline.com was first to report, issues emerged in Jake and Vienna's romance not soon after the final rose was handed out.
Jake contacted his ex-girlfriend the day after taping wrapped, a source told RadarOnline.com in March.

He tried to convince his ex-girlfriend that he still loved her and the women on the show including Vienna meant nothing to him, the source added.
But despite the relationship road-bump, the couple gushed about impending wedding bliss.

"It's a giant love story," Jake said in March, before turning to Vienna on television and proclaiming: "You're my best friend in the whole world -- and that's the most important thing to me."
Just last month, Girardi, 24, had gushed about a possible summer wedding next year, preferably on the beach or on an island somewhere.
Pavelka chose Vienna, who was loathed among the Bachelor roommates, over the more grounded Tenley Molzahn, in March.
Three months, it is over.
