The Bachelor's Jake Pavelka and Vienna Girardi have officially called it quits, and Jimmy Kimmel enjoyed a few laughs at the expense of the lovebirds that titillated some, while irritating others.
Kimmel read a statement from Pavelka's publicist, confirming the split and requesting privacy.
Vienna: Jake Said Sex Before Marriage Was A Sin
Posted on Jun 23, 2010 @ 11:58AM - 30 comments

One of the main reasons The Bachelor is still a bachelor is because he told fiancée Vienna Girardi that premarital sex was a sin.
That’s one of many excuses Jake Pavelka used to avoid intimacy with his bride-to-be she says in a new interview.
The breakup of Jake and Vienna is making headlines in the reality TV world and Vienna dished to Star magazine that Jake the Pilot lost his way in the bedroom.
“About a month into our relationship things started to get strange,” she says in an exclusive interview in Star’s new issue. “Like he didn’t want to kiss me. I had to ask.
EXCLUSIVE VIDEO INTERVIEW: Chelsie Hightower On Jake Pavelka's Dancing With The Stars Elimination

Jake Pavelka was eliminated from Dancing With The Stars Tuesday, as the Dallas pilot-turned-reality TV star's mediocre samba did not sway viewers to keep him in ABC's hit ballroom competition.
RadarOnline.com caught up with Pavelka's dance partner, Chelsie Hightower, who said she felt vindicated by the effort the couple put forth, even in defeat.
"We just didn't have enough fan votes, and that's OK, because we did everything we could as dancers," Hightower told RadarOnline.com exclusively. "As Jake and I, as a dance partnership, we did everything we could. So you just got to go home with peace, knowing that you did your best.”
VIDEO: Bachelor's Vienna Defends Bad Girl Rep To Jimmy Kimmel

The Bachelor's Jake Pavelka and Vienna Girardi appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live! Thursday night, and RadarOnline.com has the best banter between the witty late night host and reality TV's newest “it” couple.
The interview started with Kimmel bringing up Vienna's bad girl rep in the tabloids, to which she defended saying, "I have a huge personality that was even more amplified on the show."
Vienna told Kimmel she feels Jake's family has accepted her, as she said she talks to his mother “two times a day.”
As for Jake's upcoming stint on ABC’s Dancing With The Stars alongside beautiful dance partner Chelsie Hightower, Vienna said she would be "his biggest cheerleader in the front row every show."
"Chelsea can have him on the dance floor," Vienna said. "[But] he comes home to me."
Kimmel, who admittedly lost a $100,000 wager to Ellen DeGeneres on the show's outcome (betting on Vienna's love rival Tenley), broke down Jake's decision-making in his inimitable way.
Said Kimmel: "It's like, 'Oh I really like [Tenley], but when it's time to get naked, you run to Vienna!"
The 800-pound elephant in the room however, were the repeated jokes Kimmel directed at Vienna's expense during the past few months.
Vienna got the last laugh, presenting Kimmel with a door prize after his big loss to Ellen: a 100 Grand Candy Bar.
VIDEO: Rozlyn Papa Denies Having Sex With Bachelor Producer; Implies Host Chris Harrison Is A Cheater

The claws were out on The Bachelor Women Tell All Special when the twenty three women Jake Pavelka kicked off the show returned to face off against one another and the man whose heart they went on the show to win. One fiery highlight: the return of Rozlyn Papa who left the show because of an alleged relationship with a producer.

Chris Harrison opened the evening’s discussion on the controversy saying, “there is one topic we’re gonna discuss tonight, this 10,000-pound elephant in the room. Let’s talk about Rozlyn. I just want facts.”
Gia, who roomed with Papa, put it simply: “I don’t know if something sexual went on, but something definitely went on…I could see where she was and where she wasn’t and she was not in the bedroom at night. She was not sleeping there.”
Ashleigh happily chimed in, “Chris, the truth of the story is that several of us witnessed so many things throughout the house that was just inappropriate…the cuddling and the kissing on the forehead. They weren’t hiding anything and if they were trying to, they were really bad at it.” She admitted she and other females complained about it.
Jessie claimed that she saw Rozlyn and the producer making out and Ella described a bizarre moment of walking in on Rozlyn on all fours with her butt sticking out. “She said, ‘If you all see the producer, tell him to come in because I need to be put to bed,” Ella said, causing the crowd to burst into shocked gasps and snickers.

When Rozlyn walked out, the crowd politely clapped though many of them(including the other contestants) had scowls on their face. “What is true, in your mind?’ Harrison asked her. “Our friendship started when he came to Richmond,” Papa said. “There was nothing inappropriate about it.” She maintained that nothing physical happened between them and that it was simply a friendship. Harrison questioned why Papa didn’t speak up more and deny the allegations. Papa said she believed they were referencing her struggle with the crew over calling her son- a claim dismissed by the other contestants who are single mothers.
“What is this physical relationship, I would like to know about it please,” Papa said. After a commercial break, they delved right in with Harrison opening the floor to the other contestants who quickly supplied details. “You guys are so silly, come on,” Papa said to their claims. “On my child’s life, that never happened,” she said after one girl mentioned spotting her and the producer making out.
“What I am saying, is the truth. I can’t put pieces together,” Papa said, questioning how the cameras had missed this supposed controversy. “I will say, just for everyone…you know very well, as do these women, that we don’t shoot you 24/7,” Harrison responded. “There is a lot of down time…the producers know, especially if it’s an overnight producer, where and when the cameras will be.”
Papa said she and the producer have “remained friends” and has even been to her hometown- with his dad. “Show of hands, any producers or parents swing by your house since you’ve been gone,” Harrison asked the other ladies as the crowd giggled. Though Papa fired back at Harrison, claiming the producer said the host hit on his wife in New Zealand (“I clearly will not dignify that with a response,” Harrison said), Harrison ended the tense showdown with: “I hope you will become a better person from this…I wish you the best.”

There were many explanations made by the women: Ashleigh admitted that she planned her first night fall into Jake’s arm and Elizabeth opened up about her using a no-kiss rule to taunt Jake.
One highlight of the female discards was Michelle who was discarded during the middle of a date for her seemingly “psycho” and controlling behavior. “I really think that she doesn’t need a husband, she needs a therapist first,” Elizabeth said during that episode, summing up everyone’s perception of Michelle.
“I was hoping there would be a connection there with that kiss…I wear my heart on my sleeve, I have no regrets,” she told Harrison after watching her montage. “I’m stable,” she said, which caused the crowd to laugh in disbelief.

Time was also spent on the other two frontrunners who didn’t make it to the top two: Gia and Ali. After a recap of her time on the show, a teary-eyed Gia sat across from Chris Harrison to reflect. “It’s tough, it still gets me. I never showed him how I felt,” she explained. “I was scared the whole time.” The New York girl was thankful for the experience though. “I really learned how to express myself…next guy that I meet, I am telling him how I feel…I’m going to let it all out.”
Ali was also teary-eyed as she watched her video summary. “It’s really hard to watch,” she said. “It really was one of the most emotional things I ever had to go through. I miss him sometimes so it’s hard to watch.” She also buried the hatchet with Vienna. “I look back on that and I am disappointed in my actions that night,” she admitted when she reflected on her reaction to Vienna’s one-on-one date with Jake. “I think all of us as people even need to be supportive of Vienna because she’s getting trashed in the tabloids. She’s a person, we all lived with her…no one deserves that,” Ali continued. “Vienna, if you’re watching, I’m sorry. I’m sorry for the things that I said. I’m sorry it turned out that way. Stay strong.” Knowing what she knows now, Ali would choose love over work in the future. “But I would have come back and fought like hell to get that job back,” the feisty blonde added with a laugh.
While Jake finally came on the show in the end, it was nearly anti-climactic (even with his “my heart was crying” apology to Gia and his admission that Ali’s departure “hit about a 10” in pain) after such a drama-filled episode!

While he wouldn’t reveal the last woman standing, Jake did give one hint about his post-finale life: “Yes, I am happy.”

And then there were two: With Gia's elimination on The Bachelor Monday, the field is now down to Tenley and Vienna, the last two vying to win the final rose from hunky Dallas pilot Jake Pavelka.
Jake has left us here at RadarOnline.com guessing as to who he will pick, the good girl (Tenley) or the bad girl (Vienna).
Jake dismissed Gia, telling her their ''relationship has been a little start and stop.''

ABC’s The Bachelor moved to picturesque St. Lucia on Monday with Jake Pavelka looking forward to a tropical getaway with his three final women: girl-next-door Tenley, season villain Vienna and smoldering Gia.
VIDEO: Ali Walks Away From The Bachelor
Before the first commercial break, one thing was clear: Ali, the frontrunner who left the show last week in order to keep her job, was going to somehow make her presence still known.
“I was just scared, work has always been my safe place,” Ali said as shots of her staring at publicity photos of Jake by her bedside flashed. “I always thought my love for my career could get me through life…I realized my life is without love.
“Everyday I am away from him, my heart breaks a little bit more.” Don't worry, more to come from Ali later in the show!

The first date of the episode was a boat trip and rustic lunch with swimsuit model Gia. After a coconut and reggae-filled afternoon, the two took a dip into the ocean for a make out session in the sunset. At night, they nestled away in the island’s Smuggler’s Cove for a dinner at the water’s edge.
After patting each other on the back for being both attractive and “deep,” Jake and Gia cheered to some white wine before locking lips. Skipping to dessert, they retire to a nearby hammock for more cuddling and conversation where Jake gives her a card to join him overnight in the fantasy suite. “I’m ready to go all the way,” Gia said. Hmm, we wonder what she means by that! From the final image of them kissing in the bathtub, we have some idea…
The next day, Jake changes gears to spend time with bubbly Tenley who he takes around the island in a helicopter. Their final destination was a picnic spot by an abandoned sugar mill in the middle of the rainforest. Tenley laid things out early promising Jake, “I can see us together. I can see us being really happy, just having a lot of fun. I make a commitment, I stick to it.” Jake countered that he will have a “boy crush” on his wife forever.

After a playful splash in the water, Jake enjoyed his second sunset makeout session in the waves! Adding some suspense to the saccharine date, Tenley talked about her trepidation about the fantasy suite card. “It was in the back of my mind. I haven’t been with another man since I was married. Being with Jake overnight is a big deal,” she said in a voiceover. “I’m not sure if I’m ready to make that leap of faith.”
“Tenley just melted my heart,” Jake said after Tenley told him she was falling in love with him. Possibly trying to seal the fantasy suite card deal, Jake asked ballerina Tenley to dance. It clearly worked! “I want every second that I can have with you,” Tenley said as she accepted the invitation. Once up in the suite, Jake and Tenley retired to the pool where the cameras left them wrapped in each other’s arms.
EXCLUSIVE: 'Bachelor' Bad Girl Vienna Girardi Did Not Cheat On Husband, Says Friend
Going from angelic to devilish, Jake took Vienna to a pirate ship on the third date of the episode. Characteristic of their relationship, the two had a playful (and sort of childish) afternoon running around the ship and taking a dive in the water. Vienna clearly brings out the silly side of Jake who happily donned a pirate bandana, accent and sword. Once back on shore, they rolled around in the sand in a sexy kiss-filled frolic.
After professing that she was ready for marriage, Jake took a step he had yet to with any other woman, asking Vienna what type of ring she wanted (thin platinum band with a princess cut diamond with some “bling around the ring” for the record). Taking her back a step after moving two forward, Jake also revealed that he had fallen for Tenley and Gia as well. Vienna did him (and Tenley and Gia) one better, tearfully confessing that she was in love with him. Not surprisingly, Vienna took him up on the fantasy suite offer, even having a piece of white, silky lingerie on hand for the occasion.

Finally to the big moment of the evening: Ali’s phone call to Jake asking to be kept in the running. “All I can say is I know I made the wrong choice and I want to come back,” she said over the phone. “I really would hate to think that because of my fear or my mistake, we would never find out if we were really a match.” Jake, rubbing his head furiously, tried to summon a response as Ali continued to make her case. “You drove away with a piece of my heart,” a frustrated Jake told her. “Ali, I was falling in love with you in San Francisco but the problem is when you left, it really forced me to put what I felt for you aside. Ali, I can honestly tell you I am further along with these three women here and I don’t know who I would send home to have you back. I don’t know how I could make that happen.
“Everything about me wants to say get on a plane, come here right now but I’m falling in love with these women that are here. Ali, I just have to go with my heart and I know what it’s telling me, I know exactly what it’s telling me.” As sad piano music began to play, the two said their second goodbye. “Don’t be sorry,” Jake told her. “I’m sorry. I really, really appreciate you calling me. I’m so sorry you had to make that decision.”
EXCLUSIVE INTERVIEW: Former Bachelor Contestants On Bachelor Scandal – ABC Will “Do Anything To Create Drama”
Before choosing the second-to-last woman he would send home, Jake watched video messages from the final three ladies as they lined up for another rose ceremony. As he faced his chosen few, he professed his love to the group before giving the two roses to Tenley and Vienna. Clearly upset, Gia fought back tears as Jake tried to explain why he let her go.
“I know I haven’t been the most open, I know I’m slow-moving,” she told Jake. “I wasn’t able to give you what you need and you have two great girls there.” Adding to her class-act goodbye, she ended her farewell by telling him “I am happy for you.”
