Whitney Houston said she was “older and matured” in what is believed to be her final interview.
The 48-year-old singer was pronounced dead at the Beverly Hilton hotel in Los Angeles on Saturday afternoon.
But, in an interview last November with Access Hollywood, to promote her new movie Sparkle which she stars in with American Idol Jordin Sparks, Houston talked candidly about how she had gotten her life back on track.

“I have an 18-year-old daughter,” she says on why she took on the role in the movie that she also executive produced. “I felt the love that the woman has for her children in the late 60s. Trying to keep her family together as a single mother.”

On Saturday Kelly attended a pre-Grammy brunch, and spoke about her event and what would turn out to be Whitney’s final performance. She said at the time that the singer was doing great – not knowing that just a few hours later, the Bodyguard star would be dead.
"I wasn't expecting Whitney to take the stage, but she came up. She got on the stage, and while I was talking to her, she grabbed the microphone and started singing. So that's kind of cool,” Kelly told MTV News.

“Every once in a while I put a dress on and go on a red carpet but it’s kind of like that funny thing you do -- that party you go to -- but it’s not who you really are,” said Jolie in Berlin, Germany for the 62nd Berlinale International Film Festival, where she sat down for a Q&A Friday -- and RadarOnline.com has video of her interview.
