Disney High School Musical sweetheart Vanessa Hudgens spent Saturday, September 26, with fellow fresh faced Neutrogena girl Hayden Panettiere giving back to the local community.
The girls spent the afternoon South LA’s Gompers Middle School treating local teens to our favorite Neutrogena product giveaways and watched singing sensation Jordan Pruitt perform, all benefitting VH1’s Save the Music foundation.
Vanessa and Hayden presented Gompers Middle School with a donation at the event to fund its music program for the 2009-2010 school year.
Vanessa spent the summer filming the movie Sucker Punch in Vancouver, and she was snapped shopping with Twilight star Ashley Greene.

Did a vampire get a hold of Ashley Greene? The actress is in the middle of shooting The Twilight Saga: Eclipse on location in Vancouver and was briefly back in Los Angeles where her seriously bruised arm was much in evidence.

Ashley Greene and Vanessa Hudgens palled around Thursday in Vancouver, British Columbia where both actresses are working on film projects (Greene on Eclipse, Hudgens on Sucker Punch).
Paps snapped the beauties exiting a taxi cab, then going to a mall where they shopped for clothes. Perhaps they traded notes on their gorgeous boy toys: Ashley has been linked with Gossip Girl heartthrob Chace Crawford, while Hudgens has made everyone jealous dating Zac Efron the past few years.

A joke told by comedian Dane Cook at the expense of Vanessa Hudgens was omitted from Fox’s 2009 Teen Choice Awards broadcast when it aired Monday night.
Hudgens, the girlfriend of Zac Efron, has twice been involved in controversies (in 2007 and 2009) involving nude pics copied off her cell phone and leaked online -- not exactly consistent with the squeaky clean image her High School Musical alter ego, Gabriella Montez, gives off.
