Well, that’s kind of what happened at the 38th annual Daytime Emmy Awards Sunday night in Las Vegas when Oprah Winfrey did not accept in person the prestigious Crystal Pillar Award for changing the face of daytime television.

The 18-year-old starred on Sonny With A Chance for nearly two years, but fans were shocked when the actress entered rehab last November for “emotional and physical issues,” taking a break from the show.

New Directions advanced to Nationals on Tuesday night's stellar episode of the Emmy Award winning Glee, but the relationship between Kurt (Chris Colfer) and Blaine (Darren Criss) also went into a new direction as the two friends kissed for the very first time.
As fans of the hit Fox show know, Kurt has been carrying a torch for Blaine ever since he (and we) first heard him sing a rousing acappella cover of Katy Perry's Teenage Dream.

Glee : The Music, Vol. 3 Showstoppers album stood atop the Billboard 200 charts Wednesday, edging out 90s grunge rockers Stone Temple Pilots and teen idol Justin Bieber to claim the plush No. 1 spot for the second week in a row.
Glee: The Music, Vol. 3 Showstoppers comes after sales of more than two million albums and seven million songs throughout the season, brings the total of Vol. 3 Showstopper’s sales to more than 200,000 albums sold in two weeks. The album features tunes from the second-half of the show's first season, such as including Total Eclipse of the Heart, I Dreamed A Dream and Bad Romance.

Next up from the Fox juggernaut: the new album, Journey to Regionals, hits shelves June 8, the same day the show's finale airs on Fox.
