Penelope Cruz is many things -- an award-winning actress, a beautiful cover girl, and a fashion designer -- but one thing she isn’t is a pro in the kitchen.
“I can cook a little bit. I can cook a few Spanish dishes, but it looks in movies that I cook much better than I cook!” Cruz laughed at a press conference on Thursday in Los Angeles. “The things I can make can taste pretty well but I’m not the most organized person in the kitchen."

Gorgeous Padma Lakshmi has it all, a fabulous job as the host of Top Chef, best selling cookbooks, legs to die for and now the 39 year old is pregnant RadarOnline.com can confirm.

“Model, author, and Emmy-nominated Padma Laksmi confirms that she is carrying her first child after years of struggling with endometriosis, a cause for which she has co-founded the Endometriosis Foundation of America,” the rep told Usmagazine.com. “As a result of her condition, the pregnancy has been referred to by her physician as nothing short of a medical miracle, and due to its delicate nature, we ask/implore the press to respect Ms. Lakshmi’s privacy at this time.”
Lakshmi has not revealed the father’s identity, a seemingly growing trend. Minnie Driver never revealed who the father of her adorable son Henry and neither has Jodie Foster. Despite online reports, Manu Nathan is not the father of the baby and is in fact her cousin. Although she has never confirmed it, Lakshmi is rumored to be dating billionaire CEO of IMG Ted Forstmann. She divorced author Salman Rushdie after seven years of marriage in 2007.
Top Chef airs on Bravo on Wednesdays at 10 pm.

Ever watch Bravo’s Top chef and suddenly crave whatever they’re making, even if it was made with sheep stomach and Eel tentacles?
They always make it look so salivatingly easy, don’t they? But whenever I’ve tried any of the recipes they NEVER work out the way they do in the Chef’s kitchen.
We’re not alone so Bravo came up with the brilliant “Wong Way to Cook”, hosted by Lee Ann Wong, one of the last four contestants on the first season of Bravo's reality show, Top Chef.

Padma Lakshmi, the host of Bravo's Top Chef series, talked about a sexy series of projects she has undertaken on The Today Show Tuesday.
The 39-year-old Indian-American model/cookbook scribe/TV personality said she worked out like crazy for a forthcoming nude photoshoot for Allure magazine, though said she didn't consider it a true nude shoot.
"You don't see anything, even in the magazine," she said. "It was just the way I was lying."
