Ozzy Osbourne's Black Sabbath bandmate Tony Iommi is suffering from lymphoma, RadarOnline.com has learned.

Doctors have said the iconic metal guitarist, 63, is in the “early stages” of the disease, and currently developing a treatment plan with doctors.

A statement from the band urged fans to “send positive vibes to the guitarist at this time.”

“The Iron Man ... remains upbeat and determined to make a full and successful recovery,” according to the statement.

The band, who's sold more than 70 million albums, has been planning a reunion centered around its first studio album in 33 years. The group will reportedly move recording sessions from Los Angeles to England to help with Iommi's schedule.
