One of the most bitter splits in recent Hollywood divorce history -- Hulk and Linda Hogan -- is back to full boil.

Hulk, real name Terry Bollea, filed a defamation suit against Linda on Thursday in Clearwater, Florida, where the couple lived for several years and where she is still trying to sell their former mansion.

In the suit, Hulk claims that several allegations Linda made in her book Wrestling the Hulk - My Life Against the Ropes, released earlier this year, are untrue.

"He's being accused of all sorts of vile conduct that he did not commit," his attorney, Wil Florin, told the St. Petersburg Times.

The suit says Linda conducted promotional interviews with Today, Fox News and a radio show among others. In one, she claimed she was fearful of ending up "a statistic" like Nicole Brown Simpson, implying she feared Hulk was going to kill her. In another interview, she claimed Hulk had a homosexual relationship with a fellow pro wrestler.

The suit states these allegations are false and that they "harmed the reputation of Mr. Bollea, exposed him to distrust, hatred, contempt and ridicule" and hurt his occupation and business.

As RadarOnline.com reported last month, Linda received $7.4 million and several houses and cars in the settlement of their 2009 divorce.

The former couple is still fighting over some of the fine print of the settlement and Linda has recently chopped millions off the asking price of the Tampa Bay area estate she is trying to unload.

Linda Hogan obviously learned a thing or two about headlocks during the years she was married to wrestler Hulk Hogan.

Linda is pocketing $7.44 million in their divorce settlement, RadarOnline.com has learned.

Court documents, filed this week, revealed that Linda, 52, received about 70 percent of the couple's liquid assets as part of their 2009 divorce.

Details from the settlement show Linda received $7.44 million of the couple's $10.41 million that was held in bank and investment accounts.

Hulk, real name Terry Bollea, got the remaining $2.97 million, the St. Petersburg Times reports after reviewing the documents.

Linda also received 40 percent ownership in Hogan's various companies and an additional $3 million "property settlement."

Linda also got to keep a Mercedes-Benz, a Cadillac Escalade, a Corvette, a Rolls-Royce and various off-road vehicles.

The pair agreed to sell their three homes, including their $13.9 million estate in Belleair, Florida, where much of the reality series Hogan Knows Best was filmed.

The couple married in 1983 and divorced in July 2009 after nearly two years of rough-and-tumble proceedings.

"They will be marrying late this afternoon on the beach at his home in Clearwater, Florida," he said in an exclusive interview with RadarOnline.com.

"It's going to be a very small, simple civil cermoney. It won't be grand at all. They are doing this for Terry and Jennifer, to express their love for one another."

Hulk Hogan sued his ex wife Linda on Tuesday, prompting her attorney to call the ex-wrestler’s actions an “all-time low.”

In an exclusive interview with RadarOnline.com, Linda’s attorney Ray Rafool said: ”This is probably one of the most ridiculous lawsuits I’ve ever seen. We will be going after Terry and the lawyers who would file such an action.” He also said the ex wrestler needs to “get a life.”

Hogan, whose real name is Terry Bollea, added Linda as a defendant to his existing lawsuit against Wells Fargo Insurance Services.  He is suing Wells Fargo for failing to set him up with a policy that adequately would have protected his net worth.
