Dakota Fanning Talks High School and Being BFFs With Kristen Stewart

Dakota Fanning has grown up on the big screen but the fifteen year old clearly has her head on straight unlike other child actors. The New Moon villain recently dished on being famous in high school, her friendship with Kristen Stewart, and how she gets out her teenage rebellion.

"We became really close," Dakota told Teen Vogue about her relationship with Stewart, "Like we'd known each other for our whole lives. We talk all the time." The actresses, who met shooting the Twilight sequel, also play best friends in the biopic Runaways.

While others her age may take out their angst by sneaking out past their curfew or by drinking, Fanning is thankful for her current outlet of acting: "I get my rebellion out through my movies. I'm boring in that way. I enjoy having a normal life."

One might scoff at the idea of her being able to have a normal life given her already impressive film resume but she insists she's like every other teenager. At her private school in Los Angeles, the students there were "pretty receptive" to Fanning when she started there in ninth grade. The varsity cheerleader has also eased into the close-knit social scene having dated one boy from school.
Fanning explained: "I have a small class, so the pool is very limited. Everyone kind of knows everyone."

The seventh annual Teen Vogue Young Hollywood Party brought the brightest young stars to the red carpet in Hollywood Friday night, and RadarOnline.com was there with the question of the night for all you Twilight fans - which are better -- vampires or werewolves?
90210's Matt Lanter offered up his opinion. "I know vampires are pretty cool. So I'll just go with vampire."

Audrina Patridge is one busy girl. With a popular Carl's Jr. commercial burning up TV screens nationwide, a producer credit on her new reality show, and the coveted honor of throwing out the first pitch at Dodgers Stadium under her belt, the Hills alumna now has another achievement to be proud of. Patridge is the new face of Fila in an ad running in the newest issue of Teen Vogue.
Looking like the sultriest girl next door as she poses in a field, Patridge donned a Fila Roses printed tanks (available at Dick Sports for those curious fashion hounds) for the shoot. Her spread is in the October issue of the monthly magazine which will hit newsstands on September 8.

New Moon's Taylor Lautner is ready to flex more than his muscles. The young actor would like to show off his acting chops by going up against the industry's heavy hitters.

“I really look up to Denzel Washington as an actor. I’d love to do a film with him one day in the future," he told the magazine. "That would be my dream come true. And I love the action-drama films like Matt Damon and Brad Pitt do.”
Despite setting teen hearts fluttering in the Twilight series, Lautner keeps a grounded perspective on his new-found fame.
“I think fans would love anybody who played Jacob. I’m just lucky to be the one who got the chance.”
And what about that summer romance with Selena Gomez? Lautner stayed a gentleman and kept the details slim, only offering: "She's a great girl."
