Ted Williams is off the street corner -- now, he's looking for an invitation to The White House.

The Man with the Golden Voice, who created a signature, Oreo-packed shake at West Hollywood's Millions of Milkshakes Thursday night, had a special message for the commander-in-chief.

"To Mr. President Barack Obama,” he said. “I'm hoping to get an invitation to The White House... to let the world know, and President Obama know, that America is still the land of opportunity and second chances."

Ted Williams -- the homeless man dubbed "The Man With The Golden Voice" -- looked every bit the Dapper Dan as he stepped out in Beverly Hills Tuesday night, and RadarOnline.com has the brand new pic.

Williams -- wearing a trendy leather jacket with black shirt and tan slacks -- was snapped outside the posh eatery Mastros. It was the first time we've seen him since his brief stint in rehab.

Ted Williams -- the homeless man with the Golden Voice -- has reportedly quit rehab and the man who convinced him to seek treatment for drug and alcohol abuse is speaking out exclusively to RadarOnline.com.

Dr. Phil McGraw, who had Williams agree to go to rehab in South Texas after a “lengthy one-on-one” discussion, released the following statement:

Ted was given the chance to voluntarily enter a drug rehabilitation facility in order to help him in dealing with his dependency on drugs and alcohol. In that it is voluntary, the decision to remain in treatment, is Ted’s to make. We certainly hope that he continues his commitment to sobriety, and we will continue to help and support him in any way that we can. We wish him well.

Ted Williams, the Ohio homeless man whose golden tonsils made him an overnight sensation, is headed to rehab, RadarOnline.com is reporting.

Dr. Phil McGraw has reportedly convinced Williams to enter a Los Angeles facility as soon as Wednesday.

An escort from the rehab was with Williams earlier Wednesday morning.

Police were called to a Los Angeles hotel when Williams and his daughter got into a heated argument Monday night.

15 minutes of fame usually comes with a price, and in the case of Ted "The Man With The Golden Voice" Williams, it's attention -- lots of attention.

Police tell RadarOnline.com that Williams and one of his daughters were briefly detained and questioned by authorities around 9pm Monday at the Renaissance Hotel in Hollywood.

The two were apparently arguing, and someone called the police. Authorities describe it was a "minor disturbance", and said no arrests or further action was taken.

Ted Williams, the homeless man with the golden voice, has become an overnight sensation, but according to the mother of four of his children, they became so addicted to cocaine together that Williams' ex-wife had to care for their son.

"In radio, you're exposed to a lot backstage, so it was through him I was introduced to drugs, cocaine, and it was a spiral effect downwards from there," Lisa Ellis told RadarOnline.com in an exclusive interview.

The golden voiced homeless man, discovered on the streets of Columbus Ohio,is reveling in his 15 minutes of fame. But the spotlight's glare is also revealing some unflattering info.

Ted Williams was homeless just day ago, when he was discovered by a local reporter. He showed off his fabulous made-for radio voice and the rest is history. The video went viral, and a day later Williams was being whisked to New York for appearances on the network morning shows and job offers were pouring in.

But now Williams is owning up to a shady past that includes more than drug and alcohol use. He has an arrest record that dates back  to 1990 when he did three months in prison for misdemeanor theft. He spent two months in jail in 2004 for a variety of crimes, and was arrested again in May.
